As a youth, fear and rejection was life altering. I was a carbon copy of what i saw on videos and in the streets (what i gave my time to). I didn't now who i was and scared to be to real me, so when fear, disappointment, rejection, and opposition showed up i shutdown.  Foundation was weak. When I looked in the mirror, i hated what i saw because the things i wanted to do day to day i didn't do, mad at myself, mad at God. I felt like i was in prison. Playing a role that i thought others wanted to see in me.  Didn't think my words were worth offering up. In college there was a point i wanted to take my life but the pain of what i would put my moms through ultimately stopped. So i went on living a life waiting to die. Destructive, no care for the women i met. i would say i cared but didn't act like it. Living a lie, I was hurting. So i hurt them. Out of control with no options, God spoke to me a number of individuals around me. Long story short, i wanted to know more, I sought after a real relationship with God and haven't looked back since. He told me who i was, set me free and on a path of music to restore His creation. Though i haven't be writing and performing long He has been with me every step of the way. I am sure of my purpose and the joy i have been given from that is unmatched. Now I live for Him and now I AM The Real J. Love.

Born in Harvey, IL. raised in Markham, IL. but now residing in the beautiful City of Aurora, IL- J. Love emerges as a prominent and strong voice in the genre of Rap and Life Music. His lyrics alongside his faith delivers power packed filled songs that inspire the mind, plus touches the heart & soul. J. Love writes all of his own lyrics.
He is 1/3 of the group "Conclave Download" & excels in graphic arts and photography.
Currently, J. Love is doing shows in the mid west, promoting the "Conclave Download" title CD and his Mixtape, "On The Other Side", as well as other projects.

J. Love's musical background is a blend of all genres, he loves diversity. Called to be a voice in the industry in 2012. Unsure at the time what to really do with what he heard. He began to pursue being a MC just to motivate others. But a year later he was led to join Conclave Download. In 2013, the group released there first album and a couple months later also releasing a mixtape album (available in Itunes and every music is sold on the internet) and continues to move forward motivating the lives of those they come in contact with and around them.
