JOHN BRYAN

John Bryan was born in the Bronx, New York in 1988. He did not have the privilege of growing up in a Christian home; however, his parents guided him with solid moral values and pushed him to set the standard for his younger siblings. In a household that fed seven children, there wasn’t always direct supervision, and like most inner city kids, his bright young mind was heavily influenced by all kinds of media outlets. At the age of 11, with the separation of his parents, John Bryan became a statistic of modern day society by becoming a part of the large majority of children who struggle in broken homes. It was during this age that his dad introduced him to hip-hop. John immediately gravitated towards the angry, yet charismatic rapper Eminem—both coming from broken homes and sharing similar feelings of resentment towards their mother figures (John Bryan now has a great relationship with his mother). At the age of 13, John Bryan was introduced to the fear stricken reality of hell and prayed the sinner’s prayer to save his soul. The truth of God, however, would not become a legitimate reality until he was 17 years old. It was during this age that he made a proclamation internally and explicitly of walking with God as best as he could—with as little hypocrisy and compromise as possible. With the grace of God, John Bryan was able to break generational curses by becoming the first of seven brothers and sisters to not only graduate from high school, but also become the first in his entire family history to graduate college. He followed through with his desire and devotion for God by responding to the call of ministry and finishing Nyack College with a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies.

John Bryan is currently taking on the dream and vision of C2E Music. He is currently working as a youth minister at Calvary Bible Church in Yorktown Heights, New York.
