Jomel Powell a.k.a The I.O.G. Is one of Detroits up and coming artist on the christian scene. He has been involved with the art of rap since he was an early teen. He was a foundational member of a Detroit rap group called The Gideon Crew. With the group he was apart of 2 successful projects. They also were nominees as well as Detroit Music Award winners. They ministered in juvinile detention centers, went on Prison Tours to minister with the Prison Fellowship Program, and performed at various churches throughout the mid-west. The I.O.G. felt led by God to move away from the group to establish another situation with the Lord's help. He started his own music endeavors under his own company name which is B.O.S.S.Man I.N.K. He Put together his first project" Pain Is Necessary" in 2012. In November 2013 he put out a second project called "Antibiotic Music." He is also apart of a dynamic duo called The Sonz Of Thunda where he and His Partner S.O.D. (Spirit Of David) do collaborations. B.O.S.S.Man I.N.K. produces "Real Godly Music For Real People And Real Situation."He recently was led by the Spirit to merge over with a Christian music empire called Under The Radar Record. The Foundation of his music is the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His lyrical strength is transparency and reality. If he reaches on, the mission is accomplised.
