Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Tekeshia Lee (“TKLee”) has always been a child of God with a divine purpose bigger than what she could ever imagine.  As a child raised in the church, TKLee was what many people like to call a PK, Preachers' kid, which at times caused her to feeling alienated when asked to share her talent and began to have insecurities build in her heart about sharing her gift with the church. Despite her Christian upbringing, TKLee fell victim to drugs, alcohol and dependency in relationships, but quickly realized that all of her pain and grief could have been avoided if she only, TRULY gave her life to Jesus Christ, as she had heard her entire life growing up.

        Enough was enough! Ms. Lee became serious about giving her life to God. Her identity in Him was restored and He began to cultivate and sanctify her for her purpose. "I have a power that God gives me when I rap. It feels like home on the stage" says TKLee. God has blessed TK with a calling to minister through music and to reach out to those who are lost, especially those who know they are lost. Her goal is to induce conviction to change the face of God's church.
